Flag Day

 June 14, 2012
Flag Day

The Timber Creek Choir was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Royals game.

Alex is in the back row toward the middle (he has his contacts in).
The 4th and 5th graders sounded great, Mrs. Chandler was really proud of them!
And, Ivan had fun at his first Royals game.  He even found his buddy!  JP got a ball from Colon (pitcher) and gave it to Ivan.

So proud of those Lucas boys!

And, the Royals won!

Eleven

Diamond Club Seats
Walking on the warning track after the game.
Alex and Thatcher watching every pitch.
They yelled, "Moose" every chance they got! (Mike Moustakis)
Nana saved a brass Jayhawk that was Grandad Ash's.
Alex loves it!
He chose to eat dinner at Mi Ranchito, "chips and salsa".
They sang, made him wear a sombrero and put whipped cream on his nose.

After dinner...baseball under the lights.
He pitched the first two innings and got 4 K's!

Happy Birthday crazy monkey,  we 3 you!

Miracle League Tenth Anniversary

E

Ivan was in heaven.
The kids released 10 balloons for the tenth anniversary.
He danced, rocked, flapped and sang his way around the bases.
And, insisted that we video.
He was very entertaining.

Everyone gets to bat until they get a hit.  Every hit is a home run.  Nobody gets out.
Happy happy kids!

New Specs

Grown Up
Liz and Debbie at Kids Specs asked Alex when he was going to start modeling. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "As long as I don't have to wear a dress and I can spend the money on baseball cards."!

Love his new glasses, he would fit right in with Richie, Potsie and Ralph on Happy Days.

Another reason

Another reason Stilwell is the perfect school for our little man.
"Mom, it has dryers and wish-wish-wishes, and brushes that spin and..."
This will keep him busy for weeks!
Mrs. Ainsworth is the best.
